New Wild Edge Community Tree Planting Day

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our Community Tree Planting Day!  After weeks of rain, we were lucky to enjoy a beautiful cold but sunny day in the park.

Around 30 people of all ages came along to help plant trees and shrubs, creating the New Wild Edge along the park border with A405. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, 1,000 trees and shrubs were planted!  

The New Wild Edge will enhance the green space, increase biodiversity and act as a natural sound barrier, improving the park for all visitors.
